Adam Valkin is a managing director at General Catalyst, a venture capital firm that partners with seed to endurance-stage founders to help build companies that can withstand the test of time. Adam invests broadly in consumer Internet companies and SaaS companies.
Prior to joining GC, Adam was a venture partner in the London office of Accel Partners. Before that, Adam was: Global Head of Digital Media at the television production company, Endemol; a partner at venture capital firm Arts Alliance; and was co-founder and CEO of LOVEFiLM (acquired by Amazon).
Adam is on the board of, or actively involved with, the following GC companies: Alyce, Brainly, Bustle, Cazoo, ClassPass, Deliveroo, Fundbox, Hometap, Monzo, Rapyd, Rebag, Remesh, Shift Technology, Super Evil Megacorp, Truss, Vroom (NASDAQ: VRM), and WayUp.
His previous investments include CCP, Fiverr, Flywire, Giphy, GoCardless, Kenshoo, LOVEFiLM, and Spotify.
