About the speakers

 

Lou Dubois is the Executive Director, Digital Content on the NBCUniversal Corporate Communications team. In this role, Dubois oversees development and growth of new and existing enterprise digital products and the content that drives them.

In this role, Lou has redesigned, developed and launched NBCUniversal.com (named Global Corporate Website of the Year in 2015), developed the corporate video and storytelling strategy to share news from around 60+ brands and recently launched the company's first all-inclusive, mobile-first intranet and global employee directory to foster connections and increase productivity globally.

NBCUniversal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, productions, and marketing of entertainment, news and information to a global audience. With over 60 brands in their portfolio, NBCUniversal is in business to create and deliver content so compelling that it entertains, informs and shapes our world.

Dubois is a graduate of Flagler College, and prior career stops include NBC News, Inc Magazine, Sports Illustrated and the Associated Press.

Mandy Menaker is Head of PR and Brand Development at Shapr, a free and inspiring app to efficiently grow your professional network. Shapr’s goal is to make networking an everyday habit for millions of users worldwide, and is on track with half a million users to date and 65,000 users in New York. As the first American hire at Shapr, Mandy launched the US office and leads all English brand initiatives, including an NYC subway campaign that appeared in the interior of 584 cars.
Previous to this role, Mandy led aggressive growth and brand strategy as Fluent City’s first marketing hire and third full-time employee. Over four and a half years, she spearheaded creative social media campaigns, leveraged unique partnerships, and implemented aggressive community building and blogging strategies to quadruple business revenue.
