You're invited to an unforgettable brunch with Strategic Consultant / Former Head of CAA Marketing David Messinger and music industry icon Julie Pilat. Enjoy a fireside chat with David and Julie, curated connections, a business challenge and pitch off... over a seasonal, locally-sourced meal.
David Messinger plays a respected, thought-leadership role regarding key issues facing C-suite executives and business leaders.
Prior to running his current consulting practice, David was the Co-Head of CAA Marketing, a division of Creative Artists Agency. In this role, he helped lead a corporate practice that developed marketing strategies and original content to leverage the power of entertainment on behalf of such clients as The Coca-Cola Company, General Motors, Mattel, Southwest Airlines, Diageo, Chipotle, and Samsung.
David also serves on the Executive Committees of the Advertising Hall of Fame and the Advertising Hall of Achievement, and he sits on the Corporate Advisory Counsel of the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Julie Pilat is well-known throughout the music industry as a key player in artist development. Her eye for talent led to an instrumental role in launching stars as diverse as Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, OneRepublic, Jason Derulo and Foster the People.
With close colleagues such as Timbaland, Dr. Luke, Ryan Tedder, Benny Blanco, J.R. Rotem and Rodney Jerkins, it’s no surprise that Julie has been included in Billboards Top 40 under 40, Billboard’s Twitter 140: Music Industry Characters You Need To Follow list and Radio Ink Magazine's list of the 50 Most Influential Women in Radio.
