David Messinger plays a respected, thought-leadership role regarding key issues facing C-suite executives and business leaders.
Prior to running his current consulting practice, David was the Co-Head of CAA Marketing, a division of Creative Artists Agency. In this role, he helped lead a corporate practice that developed marketing strategies and original content to leverage the power of entertainment on behalf of such clients as The Coca-Cola Company, General Motors, Mattel, Southwest Airlines, Diageo, Chipotle, and Samsung.
David also serves on the Executive Committees of the Advertising Hall of Fame and the Advertising Hall of Achievement, and he sits on the Corporate Advisory Counsel of the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Julie Pilat is a Mentor, Community Leader, Host, and Music & Tech Executive. Julie has been included in Billboards 2013 Top 40 under 40, Billboard’s Twitter 140: Music Industry Characters You Need To Follow list and Radio Ink Magazine's list of the 50 Most Influential Women in Radio. She holds several Music Director of the Year titles from industry publications FMQB, S.I.N. Network and R&R. She is a Governor for the Los Angeles Chapter of the Grammy Board.
Julie started her career in radio at the age of 14 pulling shifts at a local college station during the peak of the grunge movement, while simultaneously interning at a Hip Hop station (KUBE). Pilat moved to LA to work at iHeart Radio (formerly Clear Channel) at KIIS FM as Assistant Program Director and Music Director. In 2007 she added duties of Program Director of 987FM (KYSR) and Alternative Brand Manager for iHeart. While Programming at iHeart Pilat also hosted a weekly new music live stream show called “The Weekend Mixtape” and was instrumental in breaking numerous artists from Nicki Minaj to Jason Derulo, MIA to Mac Miller, OneRepublic, Childish Gambino, and more before making the leap to streaming.
Julie is a volunteer with Youth Mentoring and is a Lifetime Director at A Place Called Home in South Central. She has a passion project/interview series called The Idea Fountain where every month she interviews someone who has changed her life.
