Previously, Amit co-founded Accel-backed CardSpring, a payments infrastructure company, where he led engineering for its developer-facing API platform. Twitter subsequently acquired CardSpring, where Amit led engineering for several of Twitter’s commerce and customer service initiatives.
Michael Wee is an investment partner at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). The 10-year old firm, founded by Ben Horowitz and Marc Andreessen, recently shifted from a VC firm to a registered investment advisor, or RIA. With $10 billion assets under management, a16z has invested in hundreds of companies including: Airbnb, Slack, Coinbase, Instagram and Lyft.
