Mary D'Onofrio is an investor at Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP). BVP is a $6B venture capital firm that funds consumer, enterprise and healthcare startups around the world, from seed stage to growth. The firm funded the early stages of Pinterest, Blue Apron, Skype, Skybox Imaging, Twitch and Periscope and helped build 117 IPOs including Twilio, Yelp, LinkedIn, Shopify and Wix.

Mary primarily focuses on cloud software and developer platforms, with recent investments including LaunchDarkly, HashiCorp, and BigID. Mary also developed Bessemer’s Cash Conversion Score and is one of the key architects behind the BVP Nasdaq Emerging Cloud Index (^EMCLOUD), which serves as a benchmark for public cloud companies.

Jay Parekh serves as the VP of Business Development at Chime, one of the fastest-growing challenger banking companies in the U.S, with over 6 million accounts opened. The Chime mobile app has been featured as one of the best Money Management apps in the App Store, and Chime most recently raised $500 million at a $5.6 billion valuation from leading investors including DST, Coatue, Dragoneer, ICONIQ, General Atlantic, and Menlo Ventures. Jay runs partnerships and BD and serves as executive sponsor of inclusion and diversity initiatives.

Previously, Jay was Director of Business Development at Braintree and Venmo, which were acquired by PayPal. Prior to that, he joined Zynga as a Product Manager prior to its IPO, and was promoted several times to Lead Product Manager by the end of his tenure there. Jay began his career in finance and investing at J.P. Morgan and General Atlantic.
