Nathan Gold is The Demo Coach. He travels the world speaking about and coaching people on how to prepare for high-stakes speaking opportunities and how to harness speaking anxiety. Recently, he's been coaching TED and TEDx presenters while also being featured on The Kauffman Founders School website.
Nathan has worked in and with small and large companies, including GetAround.com, Glue Networks, Bill.com, Education.com, Innovation Norway, SanDisk, Kaiser Permanente, Plantronics, and IBM.
The Wall Street Journal calls him an "elevator pitch expert" after coaching the Top 5 Finalists in the Startup of the Year award, in the actual WSJ elevators in NYC! He is also the pitch coach for dozens of accelerators and incubators around the world, an Industry Fellow at UC Berkeley and Hong Kong Baptist University, and a guest lecturer at Wharton Entrepreneurship.
Josh Stein is a co-founder and managing partner of Threshold Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm. He currently serves on the boards of Box (NYSE: BOX), Chartbeat, Databook, LaunchDarkly, LendKey, Lumity, and Talkdesk. He is also actively involved with the firm's investments in AngelList, Doximity, Front, Loftium and Rippling. Prior investments include Eventful (CBS Local), GoodGuide (UL), iList (IGN/News Corp), Periscope Data (Sisense), Polaris Wireless (strategic recapitalization), Redfin (NASDAQ: RDFN), Selligy (Veeva Systems), SugarCRM (Accel/KKR), Swell (Apple), Tremor Video (NYSE: TRMR), Twilio (NYSE: TWLO), Yammer (Microsoft), and Yardbarker (Fox Sports Interactive).
